Brian Card is committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Faith, family, and financial planning are his passions.
Brian holds a bachelor's degree with emphasis on scientific studies (Epidemiology) and a Master of Business Administration. He has earned the FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and insurance licenses, which allow him to provide investment and insurance advice and services.
Brian spent the early part of his professional career in the Ag industry for 15 years, working at a research facility and concluding as a senior manager for a leading corn seed genetics company. His career change started in 2003, when Brian decided to pursue an interest in guiding individuals and families through their unique financial needs and goals.
As a young boy, he spent much of his time learning from his grandfather who would start, build, and sell companies in the Chicago-land area. This "apprenticeship" helped develop a strict discipline of hard work, integrity, and a desire to serve and educate others on how to navigate their own financial needs and goals.
Brian's greatest passions are his faith; his wife of 30 years, Katie; their three adult children; and two granddaughters. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, running, and playing golf.
Community volunteering is important to Brian. He has held various service positions, including as a board member of the Morton Youth Baseball program; Morton and Peoria Chambers of Commerce Ambassador executive teams; and as a Paul Harris Fellow for Rotary International. He currently serves on the boards of the Pediatric Resource Center/OSF/University of Illinois and the Historical Association of Princeville, and is a Co-chairman of the Morton Pumpkin Festival Drive-Thru.
